‘Gleaning from aspects of traditional craft and abstract design, my work explores pattern, decoration and texture. I playfully deconstructed and assembled images from second hand Australian House and Garden magazines including images of 60s interiors, knitting charts and geometric quilts. I look to create illusory spaces that gesture to the trends of mid-century design.’
