For this painting I have utilized masking techniques to create a vibrant moire pattern with concentric circles gently emerging through the composition.

I have deconstructed the hues into dark burgundy, orange ochre, yellow, grey blue and pink to imbue the artwork with a feeling of misty dawn light when viewed from a distance.

My intention with this artwork is to provide a harmonious balance between vibrant line work and subtle shifts of tone and colour.

There is no overaching concept or idea other than to immerse the viewer into the emotional sensation of seeing.
