Part of a project capturing places of science and research, engineering and industry, spaces that are unseen and unfamiliar to the majority. My intent is to reveal the accidental aesthetics that exists in these spaces built with form and function as a priority, exploring the idea of art intersecting with science and at its core playing on this notion of beauty being in the eye of the beholder.

This particular image captures an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Chamber. A highly specialized room designed to test electronic devices and accurately measure their electromagnetic waves and emissions. The symmetrical baffles on the walls reflect and redirect waves to a single point for measurement.
